The 2014 GRO-Biz Conference & Idea Expo Planning Committee is looking for speakers with ideas and information to share with current and prospective business owners in Wyoming, in breakout sessions at the 2014 GRO-Biz Conference & Idea Expo. This event will be held at the Little America in Cheyenne, February 19-20, 2014.  We expect 200-300 attendees. For details, please visit the conference website: www.regonline.com/2014grobizidea .

The GRO-Biz Conference & Idea Expo is committed to providing superior content in:

  • Contracting with federal, state, and/or local governments
  • Business-to-business success strategies in money, marketing, and management (i.e.: digital or traditional marketing/sales, financial management, human resources, strategic planning, and business operations and management)

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your entrepreneurial experience with businesses in Wyoming! Please submit your proposal for a 60 or 75-minute session using the form on the next page.  You are welcome to attach more detailed information about your proposed session, but the form is required and must be complete for your proposal to be considered. The deadline for submission is on or before Monday, December 9th at 5pm.  Please email your submission to Peggy Baker (pbaker@uwyo.edu) with the subject line “2014 Call for Presenters.” You will be notified on or before Tuesday, December 17th if your session has been chosen.

All breakout session presenters are eligible for complimentary conference registrations.

In addition, a $200 stipend will be offered to each business that is selected to give a presentation, to help defray travel and other expenses (it is up to the business to determine the number of presenters necessary to give its presentation; this travel stipend is not per speaker, it is per business).  Government agencies and organizations that receive federal or state funding to provide education or services to the public are not eligible to receive the stipend.

The GRO-Biz Conference & Idea Expo is brought to you by U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Business Council, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Wyoming Entrepreneur Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and the University of Wyoming Business Resource Network.
