This webinar will focus on two key tools: the business model template and the value proposition. An organization’s business model is a management tool to help existing and startup companies map how they will make money. This one-page tool allows you to focus and clarify the nine key segments of the business model including the value proposition.

Presenter:  Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Matthew Fox joined the University of Wyoming’s College of Business in the Department of Management and Marketing as part of a cluster hire to boost entrepreneurship education. Fox earned his Ph.D. from Duke University, his MBA from the University of Nevada and his B.A. from Colorado College. Prior to coming to UW, he served as an Assistant Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business, where he worked closely with economic development professionals, high-tech companies, and faculty in the sciences to secure over $6 million in grants to move innovations to market and develop the skilled workforce needed to commercially manufacture products.
