USDA is a granting agency with broad topics including Air, Water & Soils, Rural Development, Small & Mid-size Farms, Animal Products & Protection, Food Science & Nutrition are just a few.

This webinar will include a summary of the USDA SBIR program, in the context of the other SBIR agencies so that differences are made clear. It also will address unique features of the USDA program, and will conclude with some advice on preparing and submitting a Phase I USDA SBIR proposal.

Part of the SBIR/STTR Webinar Series

This webinar is part of a series. Each hour long webinar will focus on a different SBIR/STTR agency. The webinars begin with an overview of the agency’s SBIR (and STTR, where applicable) program, and then continue into a discussion of its unique features. The webinar will conclude with some advice on preparing and submitting a Phase I proposal to the highlighted agency. At the end of this series, attendees will know which agencies are a good fit for their technology.

Presented by: Jim Greenwood, Greenwood Consulting Group Inc, has taught thousands of entrepreneurs how to write competitive technical and cost proposals. He and his team provide assistance including draft proposal reviews and brainstorming on proposal strategy and content. Recognized as a leading expert, Jim is a regular instructor of Phase I and Phase II proposal preparation workshops at national and regional conferences.
