Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can learn about everything that is required during an upcoming Start Your Own Business Workshop in Cheyenne. Presented by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the Laramie County Public Library L2B program, and the Small Business Administration Wyoming District Office, this no-cost training will provide a basic overview of starting a business in our state. The workshop will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 6-7:30 pm at the Laramie County Public Library in Cheyenne, WY.
SBA representatives will also provide an overview on Wyoming’s Opportunity Zones, an investment program designed to help bolster economic vitality in low-income or otherwise disadvantaged communities.
Explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This workshop will cover numerous topics such as:
- testing the feasibility of your business idea
- identifying your target market
- financing options
- creating a business plan
- and more
This is designed to be an interactive program, so bring your questions. This program is free-of-charge for Wyoming residents, but pre-registration is appreciated.
