Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can learn about everything that is required during an upcoming Start Your Own Business Workshop in Riverton, WY. Presented by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network as part of Small Business Week, this no-cost training will provide a basic overview of starting a business in our state.

Presenters:  Bruce Morse – Bruce is the Wyoming SBDC Network Director serving Northwest Wyoming. He has held this position since August 1st, 2006. Prior to that, he served in various positions in the banking industry for over 22 years. He holds a BS degree in Finance from Montana State University – Bozeman. He is a graduate of the ABA Commercial Lending School, is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP), a Level 1 certified Family Business Advisor, and a GrowthWheel Certified Business Advisor. Bruce’s areas of specialization include financial analysis and loan application review. He was part of a team that investigated, launched and implemented the Financial Health Check-up program and leads the Profit Mastery team.

P. J. Burns – PJ is a Wyoming native and is passionate about helping small business succeed. She has spent the majority of her career advising and advocating for small business in her roles at chambers of commerce and economic development organizations. She has a background in marketing, human resources, strategic planning, leadership, and management. She and her family enjoy the many outdoor recreational opportunities that living in this great state provides.
