Jane & Main provides Home Décor, Gifts and Fresh Floral to the Bridger Valley, and is owned  by Heidi Gregory.  Heidi was the only child in her family without a middle name but was always called Heidi Jane.  She was raised in Lyman in an old ranch house with wool floral carpet. At the age of 14 she discovered hard wood floors under the carpet in her bedroom, so she ripped out the carpet to expose the original hardwood floors.  At this moment Heidi foresaw that her destiny was to help others with interior design.  22 years later she opened her business in Lyman on Main Street using her justified middle name of Jane.  Jane & Main has become a community gathering place bringing life to downtown Lyman.  Heidi has hired 3 part time employees and has given Lyman a reason to spend money within their city, helping to grow their economy.

The Small Business Development Center provided start-up assistance, and helped establish an effective business plan for Jane & Main.  The Market Research Center provided industry trends, expected expenditures, and sales data from comparable businesses for Heidi to integrate within her business plan. Heidi expressed her appreciation best by stating, “The Small Business Development Center totally got me headed in the right direction and they helped give me the courage to start my business.”
