P.J. Burns serves as the Northeast Regional Director for the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, where she champions entrepreneurs and fuels small business growth across the region. A proud Wyoming native, P.J. brings deep-rooted passion and firsthand understanding of the state’s business landscape to her work.

With a career dedicated to advising, advocating for, and strengthening small businesses, P.J. has held leadership roles within Chambers of Commerce and economic development organizations throughout Wyoming. Her expertise spans marketing, human resources, strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational management—equipping her to guide entrepreneurs through every stage of the business lifecycle.
P.J. earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management. She is driven by a belief that strong small businesses are the backbone of thriving communities.
Outside of her professional work, P.J. enjoys spending time with her family and taking full advantage of Wyoming’s unparalleled outdoor recreation opportunities.
